Park Low Impedance Feeder Duct is designed and manufactured in accordance with NEMA Standards and bears the label of the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
Enclosures for Park Low Impedance Feeder Duct include both the expanded metal ventilated type and the totally enclosed solid cover type. Bus bars are available in either copper or aluminum. Each bar is coated its entire length, except for the joint, with fluidized PVC. The joint connection of indoor type feeder duct need not be insulated, except under special conditions, due to an improved cover designed by Park which assures complete safety to all personnel. On outdoor type feeder duct, snap-on type insulated boots are provided to cover the joint connections.
Maximum efficiency and minimum electrical impedance is achieved by close spacing and phase pairing of the bus bars in the duct.      Weatherproofing is also available when required.
Standard ten loot (10') lengths have a fourteen inch scarf lap for easy assembly with openings at each end for joining and inspection purposes.
Park Low Impedance Feeder Duct is available with Underwriters approval for ten foot (10' 0") suspension in all ratings when aluminum construction is used. When copper construction is used, all ratings that have a housing width of twenty-nine and one-half inches (291/2") or less are also suitable for ten foot (10' 0") suspension.
