Expansion Fittings

An expansion fitting is used to counteract the strain placed on the bus due to the expansion and contraction of the building or the bus itself. Expansion fittings should be used whenever the bus run crosses a building expansion joint and whenever a straight run of bus exceeds 60 feet.
